1.The types of freeze dryer:

(1) Compact and movable upright-type freeze dryer (floor type)
From the appearance and structure, the vertical freeze dryer is similar to the outdoor unit of the air conditioner, which is mainly composed of two parts, the upper part is a cold trap, the lower part is a drying box, and the two are connected by pipes. The overall size is large and usually needs to be placed outdoors or in a well-ventilated workshop. The desktop freeze dryer is similar to the appearance of a refrigerator, the overall size is small, suitable for small batches, small-scale experiments or production, usually placed in the test bench or production workshop.
(2) Standard chamber with 8 port manifold
A standard 8-port manifold is a manifold device with eight ports that is commonly used in fluid control systems, such as gas or liquid distribution systems. This manifold design allows fluid to be distributed from one primary source to multiple outlets, or fluid to be collected from multiple entrances to one primary outlet.
Number of ports: There are eight ports, each of which can be connected to pipes or devices for fluid distribution or collection.
• Materials: Depending on the application scenario, manifolds may be made of different materials, such as stainless steel, brass, plastic, etc., to ensure their corrosion resistance, pressure resistance, or high temperature resistance.
• Connection mode: Ports are usually designed to be threaded, flanged or quick-fitting, etc., to facilitate connection with other pipes or equipment.
• Tightness: There is usually a good sealing performance between ports to prevent fluid leakage.
• Flow control: The manifold may be equipped with valves or flow controls to regulate the flow at each port, as required.

(3) Automatic operating vacuum start and stop, and temperature setting
In the automatic operation mode, vacuum start-stop and temperature setting are the two key operating steps. The control of vacuum degree is crucial to ensure the drying effect, and reasonable temperature setting helps to ensure that the material maintains stable quality during the drying process.
(4) Cold trap temp: at least 80°C
Common cold trap temperatures are: -45℃, -60℃ and -80℃.
-45℃ : suitable for some easily freeze-dried products;
-60℃ : suitable for freeze-drying of most products;
-80℃ : suitable for freeze-drying of some special products.
When -35℃ drops to -55℃, the increase of water trapping capacity is obvious. However, when the temperature is lower than -55 ° C, the water trapping capacity of the cold trap is no longer so significant. Therefore, in the case of no special needs, about -60 ° C is the ideal choice.
(5) Microprocessor controller
The microcomputer processor in the freeze-dryer is a key component, which is responsible for controlling and managing the entire freeze-drying process. The microcomputer processor has a high degree of intelligence and automation, and can accurately control key parameters such as temperature and vacuum degree to ensure that the material remains stable and efficient during the drying process.
(6) USB data export
The USB data export function of the freeze dryer allows you to export the data generated during device operation, such as temperature records and drying process parameters, to an external storage device (such as a USB flash drive) using the USB port for subsequent data analysis, saving, or report making.
(7) Auto vacuum release to prevent a back-of-flow contaminated oil or gas
The main function of the freeze-drying machine is to sublimate the water in the material into water vapor in the form of ice crystals through a low temperature vacuum environment, so as to achieve the purpose of drying. In this process, the freeze dryer needs to maintain a stable vacuum environment, which is mainly to promote the sublimation of water.
