Q9: What is the difference between single-layer and double-layer glass reactors?
A: The single-layer glass reactor can be directly heated or cooled, similar to a water bath or an oil bath, and the temperature control is poor; while the double-layer glass reactor has an intermediate layer between the two layers, we can inject water or oil through the temperature control device to form circulation system, so whether it is cooling or heating, the temperature control performance is better.
Q10: What factors determine the operating efficiency of the evaporator at low temperature?
A: For the same type of equipment, it mainly includes: steam temperature, vacuum degree and cooling water temperature. Because of the thermal instability of certain materials, there may be certain limitations on the operating steam temperature. Therefore, high vacuum and low cooling water temperature are the two main factors to improve efficiency (cryopump can be selected to reduce temperature).
