Rotary vacuum evaporator is a laboratory equipment mainly used for distillation, concentration, drying, and recovery operations. Its appearance looks like a vertical cylinder, composed of parts such as a motor, distillation bottle, heating pot, condensing tube, etc. The main function of a rotary evaporator is to separate and purify the solution by rotating the evaporation bottle and heating it under negative pressure for diffusion and evaporation. This type of equipment is widely used in research and production processes in fields such as chemistry, medicine, and biology. The use of rotary vacuum evaporator can greatly improve evaporation efficiency, and the evaporation process can be controlled by controlling parameters such as rotation speed and temperature. In addition, rotary vacuum evaporators have the characteristics of simple operation, easy cleaning and maintenance, and have been widely used in laboratories and industrial production.

- Motor
The function of the motor of the rotary vacuum evaporator is to drive the distillation bottle to rotate to form a thin film and improve evaporation efficiency. In addition, the motor can also control the rotation speed of the distillation bottle, thereby controlling the evaporation rate of the sample. This rotation method is more in line with the requirements of various experiments, such as research in the fields of chemistry, medicine, biology, and production processes such as distillation, concentration, drying, and recovery.

- Flask
The distillation flask of a rotary vacuum evaporator is a eggplant shaped or round bottomed flask with a standard ground interface, which is connected to a pressure reducing pump through a high reflux serpentine condenser tube. The other opening of the reflux condenser tube is connected to a receiving flask with a ground interface, used to receive the evaporated organic solvent. There is a three-way piston between the condensing tube and the pressure reducing pump. When the system is connected to the atmosphere, the distillation flask and the liquid receiving flask can be removed and the solvent can be transferred; When the system is connected to the pressure reducing pump, the system should be in a reduced pressure state. When using a rotary vacuum evaporator, the pressure should be reduced first, and then the electric motor should be turned to rotate the distillation flask; At the end, the machine should be shut down first and then vented to prevent the distillation flask from falling off during rotation.

- Heating Pot
The heating pot of the rotary vacuum evaporator is mainly used for heating and evaporating samples. The bottom of the heating pot is usually a heating element that can heat the sample and evaporate it. The outer layer of a heating pot is usually made of insulation material to reduce heat loss and improve evaporation efficiency. When operating the rotary vacuum evaporator, the sample can be placed in the heating pot, and the evaporation process can be controlled by controlling parameters such as the temperature and rotation speed of the heating pot. The temperature of the heating pot can be adjusted and controlled through an external controller to meet different sample and experimental needs. In addition, the heating pot of the rotary vacuum evaporator can also be equipped with different accessories such as evaporation plates or plates to adapt to different sample sizes and experimental needs. The heating pot of the rotary vacuum evaporator is one of the important components for achieving sample evaporation and separation, and its design and performance directly affect the experimental results and quality.

- Condensing Tube
The condensing tube of a rotatary vacuum evaporator is a laboratory glass instrument that utilizes the principle of heat exchange to cool and condense condensed gases into liquids. It usually consists of two glass tubes, one inside and one outside. The smaller glass tube passes through the larger glass tube. In a rotating vacuum evaporator, the function of the condensing tube is to cool and condense the gas evaporated from the distillation bottle into a liquid. The condensation of steam occurs on the inner wall of the inner tube, and the space enclosed by the inner and outer tubes is the water zone, which has the function of absorbing steam heat and removing this heat. There will be high water pressure at the water inlet, and in order to prevent the water pipe from falling off, the plastic pipe should be tightly tied with a pipe bundle. When used in a reflux state, a rubber stopper is inserted into the glass tube at the lower end of the condensing tube to allow it to be inserted into the mouth of the flask and absorb the gas evaporated upwards from the flask. The rotary evaporator evaporates under the constant temperature control of the liquid, and the evaporated gas flows back into the condensing device. After constant temperature cooling, it is converted into a liquid and finally returns to the collection bottle. In the middle, the condensing tube of the rotating evaporator plays an important role, as gas flows back into the condensing bottle. If there is a leak at the interface of the condensing bottle, it will directly affect the reaction of the gas. Although the overall temperature of the condensing bottle is controlled by a constant temperature, the density of the condensing bottle itself will also be affected. The condensing tube device is an important step in converting gas into liquid, If there is a problem with the condensing tube device, it will directly affect the purity of the liquid in the final recovery.

The rotatary vacuum evaporator cannot lack any one of the motors, distillation bottles, heating pots, or condensing tubes. The motor is the power source of the rotary vacuum evaporator, and without it, the rotary evaporator will not work. A distillation flask is a container used to hold evaporated samples. Without a distillation flask, a rotating vacuum evaporator will not be able to perform distillation operations. A heating pot is used to heat the sample. Without a heating pot, the sample cannot be heated and therefore cannot be evaporated. A condensing tube is used to cool and condense the evaporated gas into a liquid. Without a condensing tube, the evaporated gas cannot be cooled and condensed, and liquid products cannot be collected. Therefore, these four parts are essential components of the rotary vacuum evaporator, and the absence of any one will cause the rotary vacuum evaporator to malfunction.
