Overview

Product definition and structure

The high pressure stainless steel reactor is mainly composed of the reactor body, the kettle cover, the stirring system, the heating system, the cooling system and the safety device, forming a closed reaction space. In this space, the reaction material can be fully mixed and reacted to achieve the preparation of various chemicals.

Product characteristics

Strong corrosion resistance: stainless steel materials can resist the erosion of a variety of acids, alkali, salt and other chemical substances, to ensure that the reactor will not be corroded during long-term use, extending the service life of the equipment.

High temperature and high pressure resistance: Stainless steel high-pressure reactor can withstand high temperature and high pressure working environment to ensure the stability and safety of reaction under extreme conditions.

Excellent mechanical properties: Stainless steel gives the reactor good mechanical strength and toughness, and can withstand the impact of a large number of solid materials.

Good heat transfer effect: stainless steel reactor has excellent heat transfer performance, can achieve rapid temperature rise and fall, improve reaction efficiency.

Easy to clean and disinfect: smooth surface, not easy to adhere to substances, in line with hygiene requirements, suitable for reaction processes requiring high cleanliness.

The working principle

The working principle of the stainless steel high-pressure reactor is to use the internal stirring device to mix the reactants evenly, and heat or cool the reactants to control the reaction speed and reaction temperature. Specifically, the inner layer of the stainless steel reactor is put into the reaction solvent, which can do stirring reaction, and the sandwich can do circulating heating or cooling reaction through different cold and hot sources.

High Pressure Batch Reactor

Application field

Stainless steel high-pressure reactors are widely used in many fields, including but not limited to:

Pharmaceutical manufacturing: Used to manufacture various pharmaceutical raw materials, intermediates and terminal drugs. In the pharmaceutical process, the autoclave can provide a sterile, closed, high temperature and high pressure environment to ensure the purity and quality of the drug.

Chemical industry: Used in various chemical reactions, such as oxidation, reduction, esterification, hydrogenation, dehydrogenation, polymerization, etc. The high temperature and high pressure requirements of these reactions have high requirements for the material and structure of the container, and the stainless steel high-pressure reactor can meet these needs.

Food processing: In the process of food processing, it is often necessary to carry out high temperature and high pressure sterilization, cooking, brewing, fermentation, baking, curing, boiling and other processes, stainless steel high-pressure reactor provides a safe, sanitary, high temperature and high pressure environment to ensure the hygiene and quality of food.

Scientific research: In scientific research, it is necessary to carry out some high temperature and high pressure experiments, such as synthesizing new compounds and exploring new reactions. The autoclave can provide a stable reaction environment to ensure the accuracy and repeatability of the experiment.

Advantages and Disadvantages

High Pressure Batch Reactor

Advantages:

Corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, pressure resistance, can meet the requirements of a variety of complex reaction processes.

Compact structure, easy to operate, easy to clean and disinfect.

Disadvantages:

Compared with other materials of the reactor, stainless steel high-pressure reactor manufacturing costs and prices are usually higher.

Stainless steel makes the overall weight of the reactor larger, which may be inconvenient for the need to move or operate frequently.

In some specific reactions, better thermal conductivity may be required to meet reaction requirements.

Notice

When using stainless steel high-pressure reactor, it is necessary to pay attention to multiple aspects of safety and operational details to ensure the smooth conduct of the experiment and the safety of personnel and equipment. Here are some key considerations:

► Preparation before operation

Equipment inspection:

Thoroughly check the inside and outside of the reactor to ensure that there is no crack or damage, pay special attention to whether the sealing surface is intact to prevent leakage during the reaction process.

Check control panel and wire connections to make sure all components are in good condition.

Check that safety valves, pressure gauges, thermometers and other safety devices have been regularly inspected and meet the requirements.

Cleaning and maintenance:

Before and after each use, the reactor is thoroughly cleaned and maintained as necessary to prevent cross-contamination and extend the service life of the equipment.

When cleaning, avoid using hard objects or rough surfaces to wipe, so as not to damage the sealing surface and inner wall.

►The operation process

Material filling:

Be careful when filling materials to avoid overfilling. It is generally recommended that the amount of material should not exceed 80% of the capacity of the kettle body, leaving enough space to prevent danger.

Ensure that the added raw materials comply with the relevant standards and ensure the purity.

Heating up pressure:

The speed of heating and pressure increase must be slow to avoid equipment damage or danger caused by rapid temperature or pressure changes. The rate of warming is usually controlled within 80 degrees per hour.

When the internal pressure of the reaction system needs to be increased, high purity inert gas or cooling liquid should be provided to the sensor interface within the set value range to achieve the expected high pressure working state.

Mixing and stirring:

Turn on the mixer to start mixing the raw materials, adjust the speed to reach the appropriate state, ensure that all ingredients are fully mixed to achieve uniform dispersion.

If there is heating or cooling coil in the reactor, pay attention to its working status and adjust it if necessary.

Monitoring and adjustment:

Monitor the pressure, temperature, solution color and other parameters in the kettle and adjust the operation strategy in time to ensure the correct experimental results.

If abnormal conditions are found, the experiment should be stopped immediately and appropriate safety measures should be taken.

► Post-operation processing

Cooling and exhaust:

After the reaction is completed, the cooling operation is carried out first, and after the temperature and pressure in the kettle drop to the safe range, the exhaust valve and the kettle cover are gradually opened.

Rapid cooling or direct release of high pressure can lead to danger, so it must be done slowly.

Product treatment:

Remove the products from the reactor, and carry out relevant testing, analysis or preservation operations.

After the product is removed, the reactor is cleaned and stored in time to keep it dry without residue.
