Product Introduction

 

Short-path ditillation kit is a special liquid-liquid separation technology, which is different from traditional ditillation technology by relying on the principle of boiling point difference, but by using the difference of average free paths of different substances. In the complete short path distillation kit, the steps to realize liquid-liquid separation are as follows:

The liquid mixture to be separated is continuously and uniformly fed into the kit from the feeding unit.

The liquid mixture flows along the heating plate and is heated, and light and heavy molecules will escape from the liquid surface and enter the gas phase.

Process conditions for vacuum distillation


The following will take the industrial preparation of sponge zirconium as an example to explain the process conditions of complete short path distillation kit.

Equipment structure

Generally, a bottom cooled vacuum ditillation furnace is used, as shown in the figure "Vacuum Ditillation Furnace". The magnesium crucible is placed upside down on the support, and most of the melted magnesium flows down into the salt tank at high temperatures. After the melted magnesium flows out of the crucible, the capillary pores inside the zirconium sponge can be exposed, thereby increasing the evaporation area and speed, and shortening the ditillation cycle.

Distilled material batch

The ditillation rate is related to the amount of distilled material. As the amount of material increases, as long as the vacuum system is properly configured, including mechanical pumps, booster pumps, diffusion pumps, and has sufficient exhaust rate, the ditillation time does not increase proportionally, but is appropriately extended to obtain the same product quality.

Distilled temperature

Although the higher the temperature, the faster the volatilization rate, in order to prevent the formation of alloys (eutectic temperature: 935 ℃), the ditillation temperature should be controlled at a maximum of around 900 ℃.

Vacuum degree

High vacuum degree is beneficial for the evaporation of magnesium and the reduction of gas pollution. In the vacuum ditillation process, it is required that the vacuum degree in the later stage should not exceed 0.013Pa.

Cooling water temperature

There is a water-cooled jacket at the bottom of the ditillation tank. The amount of cooling water should be appropriate to ensure good condensation efficiency. The temperature of the cooling water is controlled between 35-50 ℃.

Preparation materials: Collect fresh rose petals and clean them. Make sure to choose organic rose petals without pesticide residues to obtain high-quality essential oil.
