Vacuum heating oven is widely used in research and application fields such as biochemistry, chemical pharmaceuticals, medical and health care, agricultural research, environmental protection, etc. It is used for powder exsiccation, baking, and disinfection and sterilization of various glass containers. It is particularly suitable for fast and efficient exsiccation of heat sensitive, easily decomposable, easily oxidizable substances and complex components. In the 1980s, this equipment was commonly used as the main dryer in the raw material pharmaceutical industry. However, due to the difficulty of online cleaning and sterilization of the material tray, the exsiccation speed was slow, the labor intensity of workers was high, and in order to achieve drug uniformity, it had to be mixed by a powder mixing device after exsiccation. Nowadays, it is rarely used in large-scale production of raw materials and is mostly used for medium and small-scale trial production or packaging material heat treatment of Sully air compressor accessories.

► Vacuum pumping debugging

a) Close the box door and tighten the door handle in place. Close the air release valve (twist the hole on the rubber plug 90 ° off the hole on the air release valve), and open the vacuo valve (rotate counterclockwise 90 °). The void valve may be tightly closed during the first use, but it can be rotated with force.
b) Connect the vacuo exsiccation oven suction pipe (outer diameter: Φ 16mm) and vacuo pump (2XZ-2 type, inlet outer diameter: Φ 16mm) firmly using the random accessory vacuo connection pipe (inner diameter: Φ 16mm, wall thickness: 10mm) (6090 and 6210 types have been connected). Connect the void pump power supply and start pumping. When the vacuo gauge reading reaches -0.1Mpa, close the void valve first and then turn off the void pump power supply to prevent the void pump oil from flowing back into the working chamber. (For 6090 and 6210 models without void valves, the void pump power supply on the panel can be directly turned off) At this time, the box is in a void state.

After the vacuo calibration is completed, the following operations can be performed:

A.

Turn on the power supply of the vacuo box, and the power indicator light should be on (for 6090 and 6210 models, the temperature controller switch should be turned on separately). The temperature controller is powered on for self inspection, and the PV screen displays the measured temperature in the working room, while the SV screen displays the temperature set at the factory. The AT and HEAT lights on the temperature controller should be on, indicating that the instrument has entered the heating working state.

B.

Modify the set temperature

 
 

1.

Press the function key (SET) of the temperature controller once; After the SP character is displayed on the PV screen, the temperature setting can be modified using the key head button (the 6090 and 6210 models should be set and modified separately for 2 and 3 instruments, similar below).

 
 
 

2.

After the modification is completed, press the SET button again, and the PV screen will display the ST character to set the timer time.
If the timing function is not used, still let ST=0

 
 
 

3.

Press the SET button again to display the studio temperature on the PV screen and the new set temperature on the SV screen. The AT and HEAT lights on the instrument panel are on, indicating that the instrument panel has returned to the heating mode.

C.

When the temperature in the studio approaches the set temperature, the HEAT light flickers on and off, indicating that the heating has entered the PID adjustment stage. Sometimes the instrument measures a temperature that exceeds the set temperature, and sometimes it is below the set temperature, which is a normal phenomenon. After the measured temperature approaches or equals the set temperature, wait for 1-2 hours before the working chamber enters a constant temperature state and the item enters the exsiccation stage.

D.

When the required temperature is low, a secondary setting method can be used. For example, if the required working temperature is 70 ℃, the first setting is 60 ℃. After the temperature overshoot starts to fall back, the second setting is 70 ℃. This can reduce or even eliminate the phenomenon of temperature overshoot and quickly enter a constant temperature state.

E.

After the item is dried, turn off the power. If the cooling is accelerated, open the vent valve to make the vacuo degree 0, and wait for about 5 minutes before opening the box door.

If the humidity of the dry material in the studio is high, the generated water vapor will affect the performance of the vacuo pump. It is recommended to install a "exsiccation/filter" between the exsiccation oven and the vacuo pump.

If inert gases such as nitrogen need to be added during the exsiccation process, it should be specified in the contract and an additional intake valve should be added.

► Operation process
 
 

1.

Place the material evenly on the sample rack in the vacuo exsiccation oven and push it into the exsiccation oven.

 
 

2.

Close the box door tightly and release the air valve. There are bolts on the box door that can tightly connect it with the silicone sealing strip.

 
 

3.

Connect the vacuo pump to the vacuo valve, open the vacuo valve, and evacuate.

 
 

4.

According to the performance of the vacuo pump, the maximum value of the void pump shall be based on the pressure gauge drawn.

 
 

5.

After vacuuming, close the vacuo valve first. If the vacuo valve cannot be closed tightly, replace it, and then turn off or remove the power supply of the void pump. (Prevent backflow phenomenon)

 
 

6.

The exsiccation cycle of our materials should be observed at regular intervals using force gauges, temperature gauges, and changes inside the box to handle them. If the pressure gauge index decreases, there may be a leakage phenomenon, and further pumping operation can be performed.

 
 

7.

After exsiccation is completed, first open the vent valve to release the gas inside, then open the vacuum heating oven door and remove the material.

► Precautions for use
 

1. The outer shell of the empty box must be effectively grounded to ensure safe use.

 

2. The empty box should be used in an environment with a relative humidity of ≤ 85% RH, no corrosive gases, no strong vibration sources, and no strong electromagnetic fields around it.

 

3. The empty chamber has no explosion-proof or anti-corrosion treatment, and flammable, explosive, or corrosive gas producing items must not be placed for exsiccation.

 

4. The empty pump cannot work for a long time, so when the empty degree reaches the requirement for exsiccation the item, the empty valve should be closed first, and then the power supply of the empty pump should be turned off. When the empty degree is lower than the requirement for exsiccation the item, the empty valve and power supply of the empty pump should be turned on to continue vacuuming, which can extend the service life of the empty pump.

 

5. If dry items are damp, it is best to add a filter between the empty box and the empty pump to prevent damp gases from entering the empty pump and causing it to malfunction.

 

6. If dried items become lightweight and small in size (in small particles) after exsiccation, a barrier net should be added to the empty port in the working room to prevent damage to the empty pump (or solenoid valve) caused by the inhalation of dry materials.

 

7. After multiple uses, the empty box may not be able to evacuate. In this case, the door seal should be replaced or the extension distance of the door latch on the box should be adjusted to solve the problem. When the exsiccation temperature of the empty box is higher than 200 ℃, slow air leakage will occur (except for 6050, 6050B, 6051, 6053). At this time, remove the cover plate behind the box and use an Allen wrench to loosen the heater base, replace the sealing ring or tighten the heater base to solve the problem.
If the rubber plug of the vent valve has difficulty rotating, it can be lubricated with an appropriate amount of grease inside. (such as Vaseline)

 

9. Except for maintenance, do not open the left box cover (except for 6090 and 6210 models) to avoid damaging the electrical control system.

 

10. The empty box should be kept clean regularly. The door glass should not be wiped with reactive chemical solutions, but should be wiped with a soft cotton cloth.

 

11. If the empty box is not used for a long time, wipe off the exposed plated parts and apply neutral grease to prevent corrosion. Cover them with a plastic film dust cover and place them in a dry room to prevent electrical components from being damaged by moisture and affecting use.
When the empty box does not require continuous pumping, the empty valve should be closed first, and then the power supply of the empty pump should be turned off, otherwise the empty pump oil should be poured back into the box.

Daily inspection and maintenance

 Check power and electrical systems:

 Ensure that the power cable is safe and properly grounded.

 Regularly inspect electrical control systems, including electrical connectors, wires, switches, etc., to ensure that they are clean, tight, and working properly.

 Check the vacuum system:

 Check the operation status of the vacuum pump regularly to ensure that its pumping capacity is normal.

 Check the sealing performance of the vacuum system, including furnace door seals, pipe joints, etc., to ensure that there are no leaks.

 Check the heating system:

 Check whether the heating element (such as electric heating wire, electric heat pipe) is intact and has no fracture or aging phenomenon.

 Check the temperature control device of the heating system regularly to ensure its accuracy and reliability.

 Check the cooling system:

 Check the flow of cooling water regularly to ensure that the cooling water is unimpeded.

 Check cooling water pipes and valves to ensure there are no leaks.

 Check the transmission and lubrication system:

Regular maintenance and overhaul

 Furnace body cleaning:

 Clean the inner and outer surfaces of the furnace regularly to ensure that there is no dust, oil and other impurities.

 Wipe the inside of the furnace with a silk cloth soaked in alcohol or gasoline and make sure it is dry.

 Seal replacement:

 Check the door seal strip and other seals regularly, if there is wear or aging phenomenon, should be replaced in time.

 Electrical component maintenance:

 Regularly check electrical components, such as relays, contactors, etc., to ensure that they are working properly.

 Vacuum pump maintenance:

Operating procedure

Preparation before starting:

Ensure that the front of the vacuum heating oven is clean, free of debris and flammable materials, well ventilated and equipped with lighting facilities.

Check whether the gas pipeline is smooth, there is no obvious pressure drop on both sides of the filter, and whether the gas pressure meets the specified requirements (generally 0.005~0.020MPa).

Check whether the pressure reducing valve and the release valve can work normally, and whether the liquid level indicated by the heating furnace level gauge is within the normal range.

Ensure that all valves on the shell of the heating furnace are closed, and verify that the parameters set on the burner and the parameters set on the control cabinet are normal.

Power to check whether the fan running direction is correct, as well as the gas heating coil two valves open and closed state (winter should be the gas into the furnace heating, summer gas does not heat through the pipeline).

Up and running:

Power the burner, close the running switch, and make the burner enter the running program.

The burner automatically ignits and runs according to the program, from a small fire to a large fire. If ignition fails, check the cause and re-ignite until ignition is successful.

The air in the shell should be drained before the initial ignition operation.

Set the corresponding shell temperature according to the needs, and pay close attention to the operating status of the heating furnace, inspect every 2 hours, and deal with any problems in time.

Shutdown and shutdown:

Press the Stop button on the control panel. After the Stop dialog box pops up, press the "Yes" button to stop the operation and close the window.

When the equipment is out of service for a long time, all the inlet and outlet on the shell should be closed to prevent oxygen from entering and causing corrosion, and the water in the memory of the pan should be cleaned to prevent freezing.

Equipment inspection and maintenance

Regularly carry out a comprehensive inspection of the vacuum heating furnace to ensure that all parts of the distributor, water, vacuum pump and vacuum system are in normal condition.

Check and calibrate heating elements and thermometers regularly to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Clean the oxide and debris in the furnace regularly to keep the equipment clean.

 
Operation specification

During the operation, pay attention to the running status of each system of the device at all times. If any exception occurs, report and handle it in time.

Do not smoke or use open flames near the equipment to prevent fire or explosion accidents.

Do not perform repair or maintenance without cutting off the power supply.

 
Emergency treatment

In case of emergency (such as equipment loss of control, fire, etc.), press the emergency stop button quickly and cut off the power supply.
